Weight Loss Progress

Well I’ve been missing for a bit, but I’ve continued on my weight loss journey with Resolution and I’m still losing weight!  I’m now down 16 pounds and feel great!

Learning Process

That’s for sure…. Learning to eat right is a real learning process!  Thank goodness for MyFitnessPal for keeping track of my calories, my water intake and my exercise!

This is not going to be a quick process, but a slow but steady loss for me from here on.  I could op, to try the Total Life Changes HCG drops, but I don’t think I’m quite ready for that.  I’ll go through the meal plan, check it out and do some planning ahead of time.  But for now I’ll continue on with Resolution drops and continue my weight loss at a slow even pace.

Do a little planning and stick with it

Losing weight and maintaining that loss requires lifetime dedication. Don’t just focus on a “diet,” cast a wider net. Imagine a lifestyle overhaul. When people focus solely on the goal of weight loss, you can be left without direction when that goal is achieved. By looking at the bigger picture and focusing on a healthy life and subsequently a healthy weight, you set the stage for lasting habits. Once you’ve made the commitment, you can develop an action plan and get started.

Set your goals:  Measure your self and write it down… Neck, chest, waist, hips and weight!  Take a picture.  Sometimes you won’t see the weight loss on the scale (especially if you exercise), but you’ll see it in the picture and in your measurements!

Once you start, measure everything you eat and drink.  Keep track!  If you do, you’ll see what you need to adjust to stay on track.

Have trouble leaving the sugar, starches and wheat alone?  I must say that Resolution did the trick for me!  I’m amazed knowing me before starting and now.  Sugar just doesn’t taste as good, so it’s easy to forget it.

Don’t be discouraged!  This is for the long haul… It’s for your health!!

Resolution Day 9

Well today I had only lost  .4 of a pound, but that still puts me at 10.3 overall since starting my weight loss journey with Resolution by Total Life Changes.  I’m so happy that I have finally found what works for me and so many others!  I really do encourage you take a look, it’s well worth the little bit they are asking!  I’ve spent more than that on books trying to find the right diet.

But I did learn something today… I was letting myself fall below the 1200 calories, by more than 200 calories and was told to keep closer to the 1200 calories so that my body doesn’t try and go into starvation mode.  Wow, I don’t feel hungry so I figured that not eating 1200 (or somewhat close) would be a good thing.  So today I was more careful to get closer.  Today I reached 1096 calories and 12 cups of water along with a short 10 minute slow walk.   I feel great!

resolutionI don’t think I’ll go into a lot of detail like I have the last eight days because I think you have the idea on how this product works.  If you are just now ready my blog about my journey, please go back to Resolution Drops – Day 1 and start there.

At first I thought about doing 5 days instead of 10, but after starting I knew 10 would be easy.  And today, I’ve decided I could easily do 20!!  The bottle is actually for 30 days, but I’ll take a short break after I reach 20 days.  I’ll take a break for 10, back on for 20, etc. until I reach my goal.  And I can tell you that know that I have Resolution, my goal is a lower weight than I considered before I started!

I didn’t have the opportunity to do my measurements today, so tomorrow morning I’ll do that and post my results.  But I can tell you, I’ve lost 1 pant size, from a size 20, back into my 18’s (loosely).   I think I could fit into my size 16’s but they’d be tight and uncomfortable… I’ll wait. me1smaller

Why not join me helping others reach their goals

Resolution Day 8

I know that many of you have been following my posts, but for those that haven’t I encourage you to go back to day 1 and read through so that you can see where I started and where I’m headed.  I’m a distributor for Total Life Changes but I’m also a customer!  I love these products and how they are helping me, my husband and my niece.  We are all excited about our results and just want to share this information so maybe someone who has tried everything and just can’t seem to loose weight or has given up hope in ever being healthy again will find courage to try again.

I’ve used a lot of different products with no results at all.  With Resolution637f8-total-life-changes-resolutionI saw results after the very first day.  Mind you, I followed their suggestions about no wheat, no starches and no sugar.  1200 calories per day. If you want results, you’ll do the same.  And don’t say you can’t do that…. That’s what I said.  But Resolution stops those cravings, helps control appetite and allows you to eat healthier and you’ll lose weight, with or without exercise. And the right eating helps you feel full so you don’t feel hungry.

Oh, and today when I got up and stood on the scale, I lost another 1/2 pound.  That’s a total of 9.9…. WhoooHoooo!!  I couldn’t be happier

Resolution Day 8

Wow, Day 8 already!

5:30 AM:  Time for my 3 capsules of Techui and make coffee.  Not sure how I’d get through a day without at least 1 cup!!  Off to the shower to prepare for the day.  Ok, 6:00 AM  stop drinking coffee and water, Resolution drops at 6:15 and start preparing breakfast.  Breakfast at 6:30: Still my favorite and I’ll continue this 3 egg whites, sauteed mushroom and spinach.  Don’t like it plain?  Add different spices to change up the flavor.  Easy!!

9:30 AM:  Decided on Greek yogurt with blueberries today for my snack. I have noticed that it’s not as filling as raw vegetables, but it’s ok now and then.

12:00 Noon: Took my Resolution drops before leaving work and headed for home.  Grilled 3 oz. hamburger patty and used a little salsa on top. It was ok, but I don’t think I’ll do that with hamburger again.  Gotta try so I don’t get bored with what I’m eating.  1/2 cup Cottage cheese with pepper.  16 oz. of water and back to work.

3:00 PM:  Had forgotten to bring my snack with me, but I was super busy so it didn’t really bother me anyway.  But I know that eating snacks between meals helps keep your metabolism up so you body keeps burning calories and fat more smoothly.

5:30 PM:  Took my Resolution drops and fixing dinner.  I used to do a chicken stir fry served with noodles.  And since I am not eating wheat, noodles are out.  But I went ahead and made the stir fry with my normal spices (garlic, onion, curry and ginger).  It’s turned out just to be pretty good without the noodles anyway.

Total calories today 609.  So I think I’m make me a smoothie for a snack later.  Fage 0% fat greek yogurt with a little chocolate protein and 1/4 cup of milk.

I still have 2 more days on Resolution and I’m defiantly going to repeat this until I get to the weight I want to be at.  I have no doubt in my mind that I’ll get there!

Resolution Day 7

Today I woke and hit the scale, didn’t lose anything, but that’s ok, I’m still down 9.4 pounds and am still extremely happy and I still have 3 days before I stop taking the Resolution drops.  I love my Resolution by TotalLifeChanges!

Resolution Day 7

6:30 AM:  Up and at ’em!  Looking forward to today, we are going for a drive down the St. Joe River and enjoy the day.  Do a little exploring and do a little relaxing.  Started the day with 3 Techui capsules and glad I have them because we will be having breakfast at Rose Lake. 637f8-total-life-changes-resolution

10:00 AM:  Arrived at Rose Lake Restaurant and forgot to take my Resolution when I ordered breakfast and I waited too long.  Not really sure if I should or not, I decided to go ahead and take the drops anyway.  Of course, I was served breakfast about 2 minutes after I did… oh well, it’s life!  Had a Sausage, green pepper and cheese omelet with tomatoes slices instead of potatoes and toast.  What a great omelet.

Have I mentioned how much better food tastes now and yet I’m not tempted to eat more than I should. It feels great!

Arrived home after a wonderful day!  Decided to drive back via Harrison.  It was such a beautiful day.

5:30 PM:  Dinner was grilled NY strip steak and sauteed zucchini.  Delicious!  I saute the zucchini in butter with garlic, add onions and parsley flakes.

Well, I know this is a short post today, but it was busy day and I want to finish up a few other things before Monday is upon us.  So I hope you had a great day and enjoy your evening…

If you are looking for a great way to control your appetite I really suggest you consider Resolution.  It’s working for me where nothing else has!

Resolution Drops Day 3

Well today is even better than I had hoped for!  5 1/2 pounds down since beginning the journey with Resolution. Imagine my excitement!!

Resolution Drops Day 3

5:30 AM:  Took my 3 Techui, waited 15 minutes before using Resolution and then waited 15 minutes resolutionbefore eating.  Oh, and in case you’re wondering why I’m also taking the Techui, it’s 287 grams of protein to get me started in the morning, helps build muscle.  The Resolution does lots of wondering things for you, least of which is to control your appetite and help shed the fat from your stomach.

Breakfast was 3 egg whites (did you know that egg whites are only 25 calories?), sauteed mushrooms and spinach.  Tasted great!  and my total breakfast was only 103 calories (including the Techui)!!

10:00 AM:  Almost forgot my snack, the Techui and breakfast were very satisfying today.  Probably a combination of my body getting used to the changes in eating habits along with the 3 egg whites being more substantial in amount of food.

12:00 Noon:  Now up to 5 cups of water, wanted to be at 6 cups, but I need to wait because it’s time for me to take my Resolution.  Lunch consisted of 3 oz hamburger patty grilled, 1/2 cup cottage cheese.  Calories 278

I think I’ll try to up the calorie count closer to 400 tomorrow.  Feel a little hungry still, but not bad.  And since we are striving for a 400 calorie lunch, I can add a little something.  We’ll see.  I also made some dill dip for the afternoon snack so I’m not just eating plain veges.

I used 0% fat greek yogurt, added a little lemon juice, a little apple cider vinegar, a packet of Truvia and dill.  Just mix to your liking.  Easy to do and tastes good.

5:30 PM:  Dinner consisted of an iceberg salad with 2 radishes, 1/2 avocado with salt and pepper and 1 Grilled Chicken thigh, 1/2 cup green beans. Total calories 321

I’m feeling great, my total calorie count was less that 1000 calories today and I would never have thought I’d feel this good.  No hunger pangs, no low blood sugar attacks, no major cravings that I can’t handle.  Totally amazed because I never thought I’d make it through a day with cream in my coffee, bread or pasta.  I know, I’m only on day 3, but I seriously think this is pretty simple due to the Resolution.

Resolution – Day 2

Woke up to a beautiful day, weighed in at 3 1/2 pounds down! Excellent news and now even more excited than before I started!

Ok, Let’s Start Day 2 Resolution

Day 2:  Started out the morning with 3 capsules of Techui to get things going in the right direction.  Half hour later, I used 10 drops of Resolution, waited 15 minutes before eating or drinking anything.  I’m feeling ok, but looking forward to breakfast.

6:30 AM: Breakfast consisted of sauteed mushrooms and spinach in butter and 2 eggs scrambled.  It was great.  Amazing how much better healthy food tastes even after just 1 day without sugar and starches.   Calories for breakfast 211

9:30 AM: Snack time – 1/2 cup Greek yogurt followed a little later with 1/2 cup raw cauliflower.  Took 2 Iaso NRG and 8oz. of Iaso tea.  Feeling pretty good, a little hungry, but I know the NRG and Tea will take the edge off shortly.

Wondering if I’m going into too much detail, but then maybe someone else can use this to give them ideas and inspiration.  You never know.  I read that I could add a little Coconut oil to my coffee, will have to try that too.

In case you are wondering – The recommended daily 1200-calorie diet allows for a (200) calorie breakfast, (400) calorie lunch & dinner and two (100) calorie snacks throughout the day.   Enjoy (3) balanced meals each day consisting mostly of protein and vegetables, while limiting fruit serving sizes and excluding the starch category for the best results.  Yesterday I did 200 calorie lunch and that was ok, but I’ll up it today.  Yesterday’s dinner wound up being about 464 calories.  There is a list of menu options and ideas some sound pretty good, I’ll have to try and find the recipes.

For a person who couldn’t go through the day without a snack at work, I think I’m doing pretty well.

12 Noon:  Used Resolution, waited 15 minutes before eating.  Enjoyed 3 oz. grilled lean hamburger with 1 teaspoon of ketchup, 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and a glass of Iaso tea.

2:30 PM:  I feel a lot better after lunch today, don’t feel like I even need a snack.  I must have been craving the protein because I felt pretty hungry before lunch.  Enjoying remaining amount of cauliflower followed by 1/2 scoop of chocolate protein mixed in water with about 1/4 cup of skim milk.   I am now up to 8 cups of water.

5:15 PM:  Did my Resolution drops again, getting ready for dinner.  Salad with 1 tbsp Dill Sauce made from 0% fat greek yogurt for the dressing, 3 oz NY Steak and sauteed zucchini.  I feel quite full and happy. Not feeling deprived even though my dinner was approx. 300 calories.

I’ve got to say, that I’m quite surprised that I haven’t cheated, no cravings for sugar, although it would be great to have something salty and crunchy… Will have to check into what I can have to satisfy that craving.  But I’m doing good!

Well, another day down.  Can’t wait to see if I lost any more weight!

Until tomorrow… Enjoy your evening.

Resolution Drops – Day 1

After seeing and hearing how so many people are finally losing the weight (along with belly fat) that they wanted to lose, I’ve decided to give Resolution a go myself.

Day 1 using Resolution resolution

Day 1:  I have taken my the 1st of my 10 drops this morning.  I started the day as usual with 3 Techui capules and 8oz of Iaso Tea.  After about 1/2 hour I took the 1st 10 drops of Resolution, waited 15 seconds and then swallowed.  OK so far, then I had a glass of water, didn’t realize I needed to wait at least 15 minutes before eating or  drinking anything, so lesson learned!  I decided on a poached egg for breakfast.

9am:  Now I’m thinking that I should have had something to go with it.  Can’t eat any starches or carbs, so I didn’t add anything else.  Hmmm…. will have to plan better tomorrow morning.  I’m feeling a bit hungry.  I don’t usually eat breakfast so I thought a one egg would be enough.  Guess I was wrong.  The plan is to eat 200 calorie breakfast, 200 calorie lunch and 2 100 calorie snacks.  Guess that means I can eat up to 600 calories for dinner.  Decided to eat my snack, yogurt.   Ok, better now and had a stick of celery.

Oh, and by the way, I am using MyFitnessPal app to track what I eat and how much water I drink.  Am now up to 5 cups of water so far.  I’m dedicated to drinking the 3 liters (or 101oz) today.  Probably won’t be that easy, I’ll have to concentrate on remembering to drink more water.

10am:  Just drank 8oz of Iaso tea with 2 NRG.  20 minutes later… Feeling great!

12:00 Noon  Time for the 2nd round of Resolution drops and wait 15 minutes to eat or drink.  Got it, will be heading home for lunch.  Had a slice of lean ham, 1 cup of cottage cheese and 1 cup of Iaso tea.  Am now up to 8 cups of water… not bad, just need to do 4 more.

Decided on 1 cup of cauliflower (raw) for my afternoon snack.  Still feeling ok, a little hungry, but I think it’s because I told myself I’m on a diet.  Ok, not a diet, it’s eating healthier!  Silly brain.  Delgada coffee, no longer hungry.

Took my 10 drops of Resolution 15 minutes before I was ready to eat or drink anything for dinner.  Enjoyed an iceberg salad with a small about of raisins and sunflower seeds.  Had 1/2 of an avacado, 1 medium raddish.  Used a little lemon juice for flavor, but I really think I would have liked it better without.  Will have to find something else or eat it without anything else.  1 cup of sauteed zuchinni and 3oz of pork chop.  Feel full and not deprived.

Total calorie count is 895.  Less than I expected it to be, but I will eat a better breakfast tomorrow.  Thinking of 2 scrambled eggs with spinach and mushrooms.

I gotta say this day was easier than I expected.

I’ll post my Day 2 report tomorrow night.  Until then, have a great night and see you tomorrow!

My Journey with TotalLifeChanges

I wanted everyone to know that I’m not just promoting the Iaso products by TotalLifeChanges, I’m using them and having great results!

First let me tell you a little about me.  I’m 59 years young and have had a weight issue since turning 40.  Seemed no matter what I tried, how much I did or didn’t eat, I would gain weight.  Of course, working in an office where I sit all day does not help any at all.  Then I learn that most of the foods we buy to save us time and energy when fixing meals, is actually bad (full of fats and toxins our bodies don’t process properly) and really help contribute to weight gain.  Don’t get me wrong, I know we need fats in our diet, but we need healthy fat, big difference.

So, I tried all sorts of weight loss programs… Went to the gym, worked with a personal trainer and I think she was really trying to starve me to death.  But even as I was exercising and eating like a mouse, I was still gaining weight.  I’ve tried diet pills that would make your heart race.  I’ve tried diet pills that would bloat your stomach so you couldn’t eat much.  And I still gained weight.

One thing I know is my problem is hypoglycemia, if I don’t eat regular, my blood sugar drops and I get a shaky, nearly panicky feeling and I have to eat something, and that something usually means sugar of some type.

Last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Bummer, but I’m doing ok.   They removed the tumor, did my stint of Radiation.  Then came the pills that I’m supposed to be on for the next 5 years.  OMG!  5 years of no sleep?  Seriously?  That’s what the first type of pills did for me.  Second type of pills made me feel like I aged to 90 fast!  My joints hurt so bad it was hard to move.  That went away a few days after I stopped taking those pills.  I’m not saying that if you get breast cancer and have to do the same thing, that they’ll effect you the same way.  But I’m not taking those either.  So the doctor has prescribed another type and I’ll see what happens.

And now, I’ve found Total Life Changes… I have seen others have great success and I wanted to try it out for myself, so I ordered the Iaso Tea, not bad… I could do that!  Great for ridding the body of built up toxins and parasites.  Sweet!  Then I ordered the Iaso Techui, Gano and Chaga.  AWESOME NEWS!!  I’ve lost 10 pounds and I’m totally freaking excited!!  And I have not had even one issue with my blood sugar dropping. WhooHooo!!!

Then even more great news! I’ve been hearing about how the CEO took those to help rid his body of cancer and now I’m even more excited!!  To actually lose weight and it could help kill the cancer cells?  Well, I’m all in!!

You can read more about the Iaso Tea and Iaso Techuii right here on my blog.

I’ll keep you posted on my progress and hope you’ll continue to read my posts, and possibly even place an order!

Until later… me1smaller

What’s in Iaso Tea?

On my last post, I said I would post more information about Iaso Tea.  The ingredients and what the benefits are.

What is Iaso Tea?

Iaso Tea is a special blend of 9 safe, natural and edible herbs: Holy Thistle, Persimmon leaves, Malva leaves, Marsh Mallow leaves, Blessed Thistle, Papaya, Ginger, Chamomile, and Myrrh.  Designed to gently cleanse the body of toxins by drinking just 2 8oz cups per day.

The modern day processing of foods and the pasteurization of dairy products have resulted in destroying the natural enzymes that are important for our digestive system.  Iaso Tea is designed to naturally help replenish those enzymes to improve digestion and colon health.

Iaso Tea Ingredients   3

The nine essential Iaso Tea ingredients are as follows:

Holy Thistle, also known as Silybum marianum, holy thistle helps remove the toxins in the liver and has been used for two millennia in the treatment of liver conditions such as jaundice and other conditions of the spleen & gallbladder. The most active ingredient of holy thistle is Silymarin, which is a flavinoid and a powerful antioxidant that helps to protect the liver.

Blessed Thistle aka Cnicus benedictus or Carduus benedictus has been used in traditional medicine for some centuries for its medical properties such as stimulating the appetite and purifying the blood. It is also extensively used in herbal medicine to treat conditions ranging from cancer to diarrhea and assorted skin conditions.

Persimmon Leaves or Diospyros kaki are of Chinese origin and has been cultivated for centuries in Japan. The leaves contain tannins and flavinoids which are beneficial for hypertension and carcinogenic conditions and also serve as a mild laxative. It is used to treat allergic conditions such as hay fever without the necessity of using antihistamines which may have adverse side effects.

Malva Leaves (Malva verticillata), which boast of a pleasant flavour, have been cultivated in China for hundreds of years as well as in some European countries as a salad ingredient. They are used to brew tea to soothe digestive system membranes, to softe the skin as well as a mild laxative. In China, it is also used as an expectorant and to treat sore throats.

Marsh Mallow or  Althaea officinalis was used in ancient Greece to treat bruises and bleeding while also being considered a mild laxative. It also has a history for treatment of irritations of the respiratory tract particularly to treat persistent and irritating coughs. It becomes slick and slippery when exposed to fluids and forms a coating for the linings of the mouth, throat and stomach.

Papaya is a fruit from the yellow and orange group which has outstanding health benefits. It is rich in oxidants, vitamins and minerals which aid in the health of the cardiovascular system and offer protection from cancer of the colon. It also contains the digestive enzyme papain.

Ginger is officially acknowledged to be a treatment for indigestion or loss of appetite and can also be used to treat all kinds of nausea and vomiting. It is also highly effective when it comes to treating motion sickness.

Chamomile is used both internally and externally for a wide range of conditions. It is an antibacterial tonic which can also be used to treat digestive disorders. It is also a mild appetite stimulant and can help to reduce flatulence.

Myrrh is an Arabian resin which is used in the preparation of herbal mouthwash and remedies for sore throats. It is commonly used to treat irritations of the mouth and throat and to improve bad breath.

It’s the combination of these Iaso Tea ingredients ingredients that makes Iaso Tea so special and sets it apart from other kind of health teas.

No other tea has the powerful combination of the Iaso Tea ingredients. Iaso-Tea_FB
