Weight Loss Progress

Well I’ve been missing for a bit, but I’ve continued on my weight loss journey with Resolution and I’m still losing weight!  I’m now down 16 pounds and feel great!

Learning Process

That’s for sure…. Learning to eat right is a real learning process!  Thank goodness for MyFitnessPal for keeping track of my calories, my water intake and my exercise!

This is not going to be a quick process, but a slow but steady loss for me from here on.  I could op, to try the Total Life Changes HCG drops, but I don’t think I’m quite ready for that.  I’ll go through the meal plan, check it out and do some planning ahead of time.  But for now I’ll continue on with Resolution drops and continue my weight loss at a slow even pace.

Do a little planning and stick with it

Losing weight and maintaining that loss requires lifetime dedication. Don’t just focus on a “diet,” cast a wider net. Imagine a lifestyle overhaul. When people focus solely on the goal of weight loss, you can be left without direction when that goal is achieved. By looking at the bigger picture and focusing on a healthy life and subsequently a healthy weight, you set the stage for lasting habits. Once you’ve made the commitment, you can develop an action plan and get started.

Set your goals:  Measure your self and write it down… Neck, chest, waist, hips and weight!  Take a picture.  Sometimes you won’t see the weight loss on the scale (especially if you exercise), but you’ll see it in the picture and in your measurements!

Once you start, measure everything you eat and drink.  Keep track!  If you do, you’ll see what you need to adjust to stay on track.

Have trouble leaving the sugar, starches and wheat alone?  I must say that Resolution did the trick for me!  I’m amazed knowing me before starting and now.  Sugar just doesn’t taste as good, so it’s easy to forget it.

Don’t be discouraged!  This is for the long haul… It’s for your health!!

Today, I don’t want to talk about weight loss.  I want to talk about the people in our lives, how we love to see them, how we don’t see them enough, how fast things change.  People come into our lives for a time, some leave, some stay and you love to see them, talk with them, hug them and then they are gone.  Sometimes they’ve moved to another place, sometimes it’s they moved on from us and sometimes it’s just they passed on.


My Dear sweet niece Tammy Lynn passed away 2 days ago and she will be missed by so many.

Life has become so busy now and often we take for granted you’ll always be there and we can talk later.  I don’t mean we don’t take the time to talk when you call, I just wish we had more time with friends and loved ones.  Did we know you’d no longer be with us?  No.  Would we have done it different…. probably not.  Do we feel guilty?  No, that’s not the point.  It’s just that a little piece of our heart goes with you, a little piece of you will always be with us.

It’s something we all have to cope with, it’s a part of life.  Everyone has to deal with it sooner or later, I just wish my sister didn’t have to deal with the loss of her daughter.  I wish her brothers, her sisters and all those who loved her would have been able to get together under happier circumstances.

I guess it’s just me being selfish again.

Resolution Day 9

Well today I had only lost  .4 of a pound, but that still puts me at 10.3 overall since starting my weight loss journey with Resolution by Total Life Changes.  I’m so happy that I have finally found what works for me and so many others!  I really do encourage you take a look, it’s well worth the little bit they are asking!  I’ve spent more than that on books trying to find the right diet.

But I did learn something today… I was letting myself fall below the 1200 calories, by more than 200 calories and was told to keep closer to the 1200 calories so that my body doesn’t try and go into starvation mode.  Wow, I don’t feel hungry so I figured that not eating 1200 (or somewhat close) would be a good thing.  So today I was more careful to get closer.  Today I reached 1096 calories and 12 cups of water along with a short 10 minute slow walk.   I feel great!

resolutionI don’t think I’ll go into a lot of detail like I have the last eight days because I think you have the idea on how this product works.  If you are just now ready my blog about my journey, please go back to Resolution Drops – Day 1 and start there.

At first I thought about doing 5 days instead of 10, but after starting I knew 10 would be easy.  And today, I’ve decided I could easily do 20!!  The bottle is actually for 30 days, but I’ll take a short break after I reach 20 days.  I’ll take a break for 10, back on for 20, etc. until I reach my goal.  And I can tell you that know that I have Resolution, my goal is a lower weight than I considered before I started!

I didn’t have the opportunity to do my measurements today, so tomorrow morning I’ll do that and post my results.  But I can tell you, I’ve lost 1 pant size, from a size 20, back into my 18’s (loosely).   I think I could fit into my size 16’s but they’d be tight and uncomfortable… I’ll wait. me1smaller

Resolution Day 8

I know that many of you have been following my posts, but for those that haven’t I encourage you to go back to day 1 and read through so that you can see where I started and where I’m headed.  I’m a distributor for Total Life Changes but I’m also a customer!  I love these products and how they are helping me, my husband and my niece.  We are all excited about our results and just want to share this information so maybe someone who has tried everything and just can’t seem to loose weight or has given up hope in ever being healthy again will find courage to try again.

I’ve used a lot of different products with no results at all.  With Resolution637f8-total-life-changes-resolutionI saw results after the very first day.  Mind you, I followed their suggestions about no wheat, no starches and no sugar.  1200 calories per day. If you want results, you’ll do the same.  And don’t say you can’t do that…. That’s what I said.  But Resolution stops those cravings, helps control appetite and allows you to eat healthier and you’ll lose weight, with or without exercise. And the right eating helps you feel full so you don’t feel hungry.

Oh, and today when I got up and stood on the scale, I lost another 1/2 pound.  That’s a total of 9.9…. WhoooHoooo!!  I couldn’t be happier

Resolution Day 8

Wow, Day 8 already!

5:30 AM:  Time for my 3 capsules of Techui and make coffee.  Not sure how I’d get through a day without at least 1 cup!!  Off to the shower to prepare for the day.  Ok, 6:00 AM  stop drinking coffee and water, Resolution drops at 6:15 and start preparing breakfast.  Breakfast at 6:30: Still my favorite and I’ll continue this 3 egg whites, sauteed mushroom and spinach.  Don’t like it plain?  Add different spices to change up the flavor.  Easy!!

9:30 AM:  Decided on Greek yogurt with blueberries today for my snack. I have noticed that it’s not as filling as raw vegetables, but it’s ok now and then.

12:00 Noon: Took my Resolution drops before leaving work and headed for home.  Grilled 3 oz. hamburger patty and used a little salsa on top. It was ok, but I don’t think I’ll do that with hamburger again.  Gotta try so I don’t get bored with what I’m eating.  1/2 cup Cottage cheese with pepper.  16 oz. of water and back to work.

3:00 PM:  Had forgotten to bring my snack with me, but I was super busy so it didn’t really bother me anyway.  But I know that eating snacks between meals helps keep your metabolism up so you body keeps burning calories and fat more smoothly.

5:30 PM:  Took my Resolution drops and fixing dinner.  I used to do a chicken stir fry served with noodles.  And since I am not eating wheat, noodles are out.  But I went ahead and made the stir fry with my normal spices (garlic, onion, curry and ginger).  It’s turned out just to be pretty good without the noodles anyway.

Total calories today 609.  So I think I’m make me a smoothie for a snack later.  Fage 0% fat greek yogurt with a little chocolate protein and 1/4 cup of milk.

I still have 2 more days on Resolution and I’m defiantly going to repeat this until I get to the weight I want to be at.  I have no doubt in my mind that I’ll get there!

Resolution Day 7

Today I woke and hit the scale, didn’t lose anything, but that’s ok, I’m still down 9.4 pounds and am still extremely happy and I still have 3 days before I stop taking the Resolution drops.  I love my Resolution by TotalLifeChanges!


Resolution Day 7

6:30 AM:  Up and at ’em!  Looking forward to today, we are going for a drive down the St. Joe River and enjoy the day.  Do a little exploring and do a little relaxing.  Started the day with 3 Techui capsules and glad I have them because we will be having breakfast at Rose Lake. 637f8-total-life-changes-resolution

10:00 AM:  Arrived at Rose Lake Restaurant and forgot to take my Resolution when I ordered breakfast and I waited too long.  Not really sure if I should or not, I decided to go ahead and take the drops anyway.  Of course, I was served breakfast about 2 minutes after I did… oh well, it’s life!  Had a Sausage, green pepper and cheese omelet with tomatoes slices instead of potatoes and toast.  What a great omelet.

Have I mentioned how much better food tastes now and yet I’m not tempted to eat more than I should. It feels great!

Arrived home after a wonderful day!  Decided to drive back via Harrison.  It was such a beautiful day.



5:30 PM:  Dinner was grilled NY strip steak and sauteed zucchini.  Delicious!  I saute the zucchini in butter with garlic, add onions and parsley flakes.

Well, I know this is a short post today, but it was busy day and I want to finish up a few other things before Monday is upon us.  So I hope you had a great day and enjoy your evening…

Resolution Day 6

Words of the day… OH HELL YA!!

That’s what I said when I stepped on the scale this morning!  Down another 2.4 pounds for a total of 9.4!!  Oh man, I never even imagined I have this much success already!!  No way, I’m not gonna finish this!  I mean it’s only another 4 days and I feel great!  So let’s get started!

Resolution Day 6

resolution6:30 AM: Ahhhh, Saturday morning and I got to sleep in!  Love that.  3 Techui to start the day.  Breakfast started began with my 10 drops of Resolution as I began cooking.  Had the remaining chicken fajita mixed with 2 egg whites.  Yummy and very filling.  Calories for breakfast 76

Decided to treat myself to getting a hair cut today…. Tamara did a great job (and shhhh… even got my hair died – I love it)  I missed my snack, but I was still good until lunch

12:30 PM:  Lunch – 10 drops of Resolution 15 mintues before eating.  Still not real hungry but I had a grilled chicken thigh and one hard boiled egg.  Calories for lunch 231

3:30 PM:  Time for a snack.  I decided on a yogurt with blueberries.  I also took the time this afternoon to do a little baking  I made gluten free sugar free zucchini bread.  I love the recipe I found and I’ll share it, if you’d like to have it.  Of course I had to have a piece of it  105 calories

5:30 PM:  Dinner time again.  Wow the days are flying by.  Ok, you know the drill, 15 drops of Resolution as I’m preparing dinner.  Today was country ribs and sauteed zucchini.  Very filling.

The 1200 calorie diet we use with Resolution can be modified to your liking.  You don’t have to eat what I eat.  It’s your tastes.  But you don’t want any bread, flour or any starches.  That mean, no rice, no bread, no potatoes, no pasta.  Oh, and no sugar.  I really thought this was going to be hard for me, but I’m actually loving it.  I feel so much better!  I need to add some exercise to my routines, will have to set a plan and just do it!

Resolution Day 5

Normal start to the day, 3 Techui after waking, make coffee, then off to the shower and the scale!!  This morning as I stepped on the scale, I saw I was only down 1/2 pound.  At first thought the brain says, dang wish it was more, but that’s definitely the wrong attitude!  I mean really, I’ve now lost 7 pounds in 4 days!!  Home many times have I said that in my weight loss journey… like…. NEVER!!!

I’m totally excited and I’ve still got 5 days to go on Resolution!  Certainly not going to complain about a mere 1/2 pound.  lol  So, let’s keep going

Resolution Day 5

6:15 AM:  Took my Resolution drops and waited 15 minutes before eating or drinking!  I have fallen in love with breakfast (that I used to skip)  Once again, it was sauteed mushrooms and spinach with 2 egg whites.  I can tell you, I’m much more alert at work, I feel quite satisfied and sometimes don’t even remember my snack on time.  I try to time the snack in between breakfast and lunch, but lately it’s been closer to lunch than breakfast.  Calories: 44

10:45 AM:  Snack, I brought a tablespoon of peanut butter and 3 celery sticks.  I just dipped the celery in the peanut butter and enjoyed my snack.  Calories: 114

12:00 Noon:  Took my Resolution and headed for home.  Lunch was 3 oz of grilled lean hamburger with 1 teaspoon of ketchup and a little pepper and 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.  Feeling full and happy!

I really think that now I can feel my stomach is starting to shrink.  I can feel my ribs that I haven’t for quite some time!  YAY!!!!  For me this is quite amazing and I’m loving it!

Hubby and I were invited out for dinner this weekend to his brothers and sister-in-laws house, but I didn’t want her to have to do any extra work worrying about what I was gonna eat, so we postponed it for a week.   I’m really getting better about turning down the food I used to love to eat!!  I still will enjoy it, but I know I’ll be eating much less of it when I do.  But right now, I’m sticking to my 10 day promise to myself!

5:30 PM:  Made chicken fajita’s for dinner, minus the wraps.  Sauteed mushrooms, green pepper, onion, and chicken!  It was awesome!!  Never thought of eating fajitas without the wrap before.  Nice to know I can enjoy my food without the guilt!  Calories for dinner 206

So, tonight I’m going to enjoy a glass of Ste Michelle Cabernet Sauvignon to celebrate a fabulous week!  Don’t worry, it’s 1 small glass!

Resolution Day 4

Woke up this morning exicted about checking my weight!!  You got that?  I was EXCITED to check my WEIGHT!!  How many times have you ever heard that before?  LOL

Anyway, am now down 6 1/2 pounds in only 3 days and I still have 7 days remaining taking the Resolution drops.  I wouldn’t even mind if I only lost another 3 1/2 pounds in those 7 days.  But time will tell what happens and I’ll keep writing so you know what I did to get the results I’m getting.  Make sense?  OK

DAY 4 Resolution and Me!

637f8-total-life-changes-resolution5:30 AM:  Started my day with 3 Techui capsules and 8 oz of water.  Took my drops at 6:15 and waited 15 minutes before having breakfast … Once again I had 3 egg whites with 1/2 can of sauteed mushrooms and a handful of spinach.  I tried a little different spice, it was ok, but I think I’ll stick with pepper.  I can often times get stuck on what to have for breakfast because I never used to eat breakfast.  I know I should probably mix it up a bit so my body doesn’t get used to eating the same thing every day.  I read someones else’s post about turkey bacon, hmmm, I wonder!  I’ll check it out.

OK, I did a little research.. Pork bacon has more protein.  Here’s a good chart I found if you want to read it.  So, seeing that pork bacon has more protein, and this diet is about adding protein and vegetables, and less carbs, then I’ll stick with pork bacon.  No more than 2 slices anyway!

10:30AM: Snack was 2 raw carrots and 1/2 cup of 0% fat greek yogurt with a 1/4 cup blueberries mixed in.  If you want to improve the flavor of greek yogurt, add a little Truvia to it.  Works for me!  And no, the Truvia does not kick in my sugar cravings.  That’s exactly why I like it.

12:00 Noon:  Headed home for lunch.  Did my 10 drops of Resolution at 12:15 waited 15 minutes to eat.  Lunch consisted of 3 slides of extra lean ham, 1/2 slice of swiss cheese and 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.  Total calories 220  though I will really weigh the pros and cons of ham seeing as how those 3 slices of ham have 900 mg of sodium.  That’s a lot, but then I don’t usually use any extra salt in my meals.  We’ll see how it goes.

2:30 PM:  Well, the ham didn’t really stick with me, so I won’t be doing that again.  Maybe it’s all the salt.  Will go back to grilled lean hamburger if I need to.  Not sure why, so I had a protein shake for a snack to help.  That helped, but It’s not the way I wanted to feel.

4:30 PM:  I’m not up to 10 cups of water!!  Doing good there!

5:30 PM:  Took my drops while fixing dinner.  Dinner was my quick and easy recipe of Italian Sausage and Peppers.  Simple to make, 5 sausages, 1 can of mushrooms (sauteed), 1 or 2 green or yellow peppers, and 1 can of diced tomatoes.. That’s it – easy and good!  Calories for dinner  360

Still under the 1200 calorie mark so maybe I’ll fix myself a greek yogurt blueberry smoothie for desert!

Resolution Drops Day 3

Well today is even better than I had hoped for!  5 1/2 pounds down since beginning the journey with Resolution. Imagine my excitement!!

Resolution Drops Day 3

5:30 AM:  Took my 3 Techui, waited 15 minutes before using Resolution and then waited 15 minutes resolutionbefore eating.  Oh, and in case you’re wondering why I’m also taking the Techui, it’s 287 grams of protein to get me started in the morning, helps build muscle.  The Resolution does lots of wondering things for you, least of which is to control your appetite and help shed the fat from your stomach.

Breakfast was 3 egg whites (did you know that egg whites are only 25 calories?), sauteed mushrooms and spinach.  Tasted great!  and my total breakfast was only 103 calories (including the Techui)!!

10:00 AM:  Almost forgot my snack, the Techui and breakfast were very satisfying today.  Probably a combination of my body getting used to the changes in eating habits along with the 3 egg whites being more substantial in amount of food.

12:00 Noon:  Now up to 5 cups of water, wanted to be at 6 cups, but I need to wait because it’s time for me to take my Resolution.  Lunch consisted of 3 oz hamburger patty grilled, 1/2 cup cottage cheese.  Calories 278

I think I’ll try to up the calorie count closer to 400 tomorrow.  Feel a little hungry still, but not bad.  And since we are striving for a 400 calorie lunch, I can add a little something.  We’ll see.  I also made some dill dip for the afternoon snack so I’m not just eating plain veges.

I used 0% fat greek yogurt, added a little lemon juice, a little apple cider vinegar, a packet of Truvia and dill.  Just mix to your liking.  Easy to do and tastes good.

5:30 PM:  Dinner consisted of an iceberg salad with 2 radishes, 1/2 avocado with salt and pepper and 1 Grilled Chicken thigh, 1/2 cup green beans. Total calories 321

I’m feeling great, my total calorie count was less that 1000 calories today and I would never have thought I’d feel this good.  No hunger pangs, no low blood sugar attacks, no major cravings that I can’t handle.  Totally amazed because I never thought I’d make it through a day with cream in my coffee, bread or pasta.  I know, I’m only on day 3, but I seriously think this is pretty simple due to the Resolution.
